The new 146,064-square-foot facility is designed to bring all major public safety divisions under one roof. Notably, this project marks the first Construction Manager at Risk delivery by the Bureau of Buildings in the state of Mississippi. AnderCorp is honored to have been part of this project that will create a lasting impact for years to come!

Legislators recently toured the new Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS) Headquarters, getting an early look at the facility ahead of next month’s ribbon-cutting.
AnderCorp is proud to have served as General Contractor for Phase One of the new DPS Headquarters and as the Construction Manager for Phase Two of the DPS Tenant Buildout project. Last week, AnderCorp joined partners and community leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of Channel South in downtown Gulfport. This transformative mixed-use development will bring new energy, residents, and opportunity to the Coast. The project will feature a 114-room Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel, 136 luxury apartments, 17,600 SF of retail and dining, and a 294-space public parking garage, all within a walkable, vibrant district.

We’re entering the final stages of construction for the new UMMC School of Nursing in Jackson, MS! Inside the new structure, final coats of paint are underway, and final site grading and hardscape are set to begin next week. Renovations to the existing URC building are also progressing and are anticipated to be completed later this year.
