The Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana project involved the transformation of an existing gaming property into a premier 875,000-square-foot resort destination, setting a new standard for gaming, hospitality, dining, entertainment, and special events in the Shreveport-Bossier market. The development included the renovation of a two-story, 50,000-square-foot pavilion, a 30,000-square-foot podium expansion, and the construction of a new 12-story, 549-room hotel tower.
The resort features 47,000 square feet of gaming space with more than 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games, over 40 live-action table games, a DraftKings Sportsbook, and a High Limits Room. Additional amenities include multiple dining and entertainment venues, a hotel lobby bar, spa and fitness center, retail space, meeting rooms, administrative offices, and a 25,000-square-foot state-of-the-art multipurpose event venue. Site improvements included the redevelopment of the existing 1,000-car parking garage, pool area, porte-cochere, site lighting, and landscaping to support the expanded resort experience.
