Highlights
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS) Headquarters project involved the construction of a new 146,064-square-foot headquarters facility designed to enhance efficiency and interagency collaboration.
The initial phase of the project was delivered under a Design-Bid-Build delivery method, with AnderCorp serving as the Prime Contractor. Following the success of the initial phase, AnderCorp was retained as the Construction Manager at Risk for the Phase II Tenant Fit-Out packages. Throughout both phases, AnderCorp also provided design-assist and value engineering services that contributed to project efficiency and cost savings.
The mixed-occupancy includes open lobby and circulation areas, private offices, meeting and conference rooms, collaborative common spaces, and secure controlled-access areas designed to support sensitive operations. Interior finishes feature decorative wall coverings, terrazzo flooring, and glass railing systems, while the exterior incorporates expansive curtainwall systems with metal panel cladding and architectural accents. Site improvements included public parking areas, circulation paths, landscaping, and other campus enhancements designed to support the overall functionality of the headquarters.
