Highlights
The Wise Center Renovation and Additions project is part of a multi-phase expansion for Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine focused on enhancing clinical care, research capabilities, and educational resources. The development is designed to support the College’s continued growth while expanding services for veterinary students, researchers, animal owners, and agricultural partners throughout Mississippi.
The project includes the construction of a new Farm Animal Hospital and an Outpatient Cattle Handling Facility designed to improve veterinary treatment services and provide safe, efficient animal handling capabilities. These connected facilities will expand the College’s ability to support livestock producers and deliver high-quality care in a modern clinical environment.
The development also includes the Nancy Fair Link Laminitis Research Center, a specialized equine research facility featuring a dedicated research barn focused on advancing the study and treatment of laminitis. Together, the new facilities will strengthen the College’s ability to support veterinary education, research, and outreach initiatives across the region.
