Mississippi State University Wise Center Renovation & Additions

The Wise Center Renovation and Additions project is part of a multi-phase expansion for Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine focused on enhancing clinical care, research capabilities, and educational resources. The development will support the College’s continued growth while expanding services for veterinary students, researchers, animal owners, and agricultural partners throughout Mississippi.

The project includes construction of a new Farm Animal Hospital and Outpatient Cattle Handling Facility located behind the existing Wise Center. These connected facilities will provide modern, efficient spaces for treatment and handling of large animals. The development also features the Nancy Fair Link Laminitis Research Center, a dedicated equine research facility with a specialized research barn focused on advancing the understanding and treatment of laminitis. To accommodate the new facilities, the project also involves a new entrance to the Equine Hospital, improving traffic flow and accessibility across the veterinary campus.
