Mississippi State University Jim & Thomas Duff Center

The Jim & Thomas Duff Center project involved the construction of a new 102,000-square-foot facility serving as the centralized home for Mississippi State University Department of Kinesiology and the Mississippi Institute on Disabilities, including the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic and programs within the Disability Resource Center.

The facility includes lecture-style classrooms, clinical treatment areas, research laboratories, administrative offices, and collaborative learning spaces designed to support both academic instruction and patient-centered services. The instructional environments were intentionally designed to resemble modern physical therapy and clinical settings, providing students with hands-on training in realistic healthcare environments.

Designed in accordance with Mississippi State University architectural standards, the facility incorporates brick detailing, architectural arches, expansive glass storefront systems, and welcoming interior gathering spaces for students, faculty, and visitors.
