Highlights

The Long Beach School District Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center project involved the construction of a new 28,000-square-foot facility designed to provide students with hands-on training in high-demand technical and skilled trade programs. The facility includes specialized classrooms and workshop spaces for welding, construction, automotive technology, engineering, and digital media programs, each equipped with advanced industry-specific tools and technology.

The welding lab features 15 welding booths, a laser cutter, and a robotic welding arm, while the carpentry shop includes modern woodworking equipment such as a table saw, wood lathe, and drill press. The automotive training area is equipped with multiple service lifts and tools to support comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair instruction. Engineering and technology spaces include dual-monitor computer stations, 3D printers, robotic arms, a CNC machine, and a robotics field, creating an innovative learning environment focused on preparing students for future careers in skilled trades and emerging technologies.
