As the Executive Vice President of AnderCorp, Roy Anderson, IV is a pivotal figure in the company’s leadership, overseeing client development, account management, new project pursuits, and the overall management of the company. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Roy directly oversees AnderCorp’s Safety and Quality Control departments, ensuring that the well-being of employees and the delivery of high-quality projects remain top priorities.

Professional Background

Roy’s connection to the construction industry began at an early age, having grown up in a family with a rich legacy in the field. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi, he followed in his family’s footsteps by pursuing a career in construction. Roy began his professional experience working on major construction projects in cities such as Birmingham, New Orleans, New York, and Gulfport. This hands-on experience in project management provided him with a unique perspective on the importance of team building and cultivating strong customer relationships. Through this experience, Roy believes that a company’s culture and commitment can significantly impact a project’s performance and ultimate success—from preconstruction to the grand opening.

Industry Involvement & Recognition

Beyond his role at AnderCorp, Roy is actively involved in the broader construction industry. He currently serves as President and Board Member of the Mississippi Associated General Contractors (AGC), contributing his expertise to the development of the industry at large. Roy is a graduate of the Leadership Gulf Coast program and was named “Top 40 Under 40” and “Top 50 Emerging Leaders” by the Mississippi Business Journal.
