Building Your Vision

As the Executive Vice President of AnderCorp, Roy Anderson, IV is a pivotal figure in the company’s leadership, managing client development, account management, new project pursuits, and the overarching management of AnderCorp. Roy is committed to fostering a culture of excellence within AnderCorp, a culture that aligns with the core values that both the associates and customers can be proud to be apart of. His leadership philosophy centers around empowering associates to achieve their best while treating each project with the same care and dedication as if it were their own. This approach creates an environment where strong performance, ethical conduct, and superior customer service are consistently rewarded, all while maintaining a work environment that is both challenging and enjoyable. In addition to his executive responsibilities, Roy directly oversees AnderCorp’s Safety and Quality Control departments, ensuring that the well-being of employees and the delivery of high-quality projects remain top priorities.

Roy’s deep-rooted connection to the construction industry began at an early age, having grown up in a family with a rich legacy in the field. His grandfather, Roy Anderson, Jr., founded Roy Anderson Corp (RAC), and Roy IV spent his formative years surrounded by the industry. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance from the University of Mississippi, he chose to follow in his family’s footsteps by pursuing a career in construction. During his nine-year tenure at RAC, Roy gained invaluable experience working on significant construction projects in major cities such as Birmingham, New Orleans, New York, and Gulfport.

His hands-on experience in project management provided him with a unique perspective on the critical importance of team building and cultivating strong customer relationships. Roy believes that a company’s culture and commitment can significantly impact a project’s performance and ultimate success—from preconstruction to the grand opening.

Beyond his role at AnderCorp, Roy is actively involved in the broader construction industry. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Mississippi Associated General Contractors, contributing his expertise to the development of the industry at large. His professional achievements have been recognized with several honors, including his graduation from Leadership Gulf Coast and being named one of the “Top 50 Emerging Leaders” by the Mississippi Business Journal.
