Marketing Manager
Locations:- Gulfport, MS
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing the company’s marketing, branding, and community engagement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in supporting business development efforts, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening relationships within the community and industry.
The ideal candidate is both creative and organized, someone who can manage multiple projects, tell compelling stories about our work, and ensure consistent, high-quality marketing deliverables across all platforms.
Key Role Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Sponsorship Management
- Develop and manage relationships with community organizations, industry groups, and local partners
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate sponsorship opportunities aligned with company goals
- Oversee all sponsorship deliverables, including branding, event participation, and ROI tracking
- Represent the company at community and industry events as needed
Proposal & Presentation Coordination
- Lead the development, coordination, and submission of proposals (RFPs/RFQs)
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and executives to gather content
- Ensure all proposals are visually compelling, compliant, and delivered on time
- Maintain and update proposal templates, resumes, and project portfolios
- Assist in preparing presentations and interview materials for project pursuits
Branding, Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Create and maintain consistent brand standards across all marketing materials
- Design brochures, presentations, project sheets, and promotional materials
- Develop engaging content that highlights company projects, culture, and capabilities
- Ensure all visual and written communications reflect the company’s brand identity
Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
- Create, schedule, and manage regular content, including project updates and company news
- Monitor engagement and analytics to improve performance and reach
- Maintain and update website content as needed
Photography & Visual Asset Management
- Coordinate and schedule professional photography for projects, and events
- Manage and organize the company’s photo and video library
- Ensure consistent documentation of project progress and milestones
- Work with project teams to capture high-quality visuals for marketing use
Event Planning & Company Functions
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, trade shows, and industry functions
- Organize company participation in community events and outreach initiatives
- Plan and assist with quarterly and annual company meetings and celebrations
- Manage logistics, vendors, and budgets for events
Merchandise & Promotional Materials
- Develop and manage company-branded merchandise for internal and external use
- Coordinate ordering, inventory, and distribution of promotional items
- Ensure all materials align with branding standards and marketing goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design or related field
- 5–7+ years of marketing experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with proposal development is highly preferred
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
