University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Nursing

The UMMC School of Nursing project included a 106,000-square-foot nursing education complex, consisting of 78,000 square feet of new construction and 28,000 square feet of renovated space within the existing URC building. The new three-story facility features classrooms, administrative offices, an auditorium, clinical simulation labs, and collaborative learning spaces designed to support hands-on healthcare education.

The project also included demolition of an adjacent structure to accommodate the new facility addition. The renovated and new spaces are connected around a 16,000-square-foot courtyard designed for student activities and outdoor gatherings. The completed complex supports increased enrollment while enhancing student engagement, clinical training opportunities, and modern healthcare education.
