Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Pre/Post Procedure Unit Relocation

The Memorial Hospital at Gulfport Pre/Post Procedure Unit project involved the renovation of the hospital’s existing first floor to create a new patient care unit supporting pre- and post-procedure operations. The project also included the relocation of an existing women’s restroom and mechanical room to accommodate the new layout.

The renovation included new drywall partitions, medical headwalls with medical gases, and upgraded mechanical, electrical, nurse call, fire alarm, fire protection, and interior finish systems throughout the space. The project also involved the installation of a new owner-provided air handling unit and supporting mechanical infrastructure.

Because construction occurred within an active hospital environment, the project required detailed coordination and the implementation of a site-specific infection control plan to maintain patient safety and minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
